In order to maintain close and stable relations with the business community of the Republic of Armenia, the FBA EAC members have repeatedly proposed to open a Representative office of FBA EAC in Armenia. In accordance with the previously held consultations, the abovementioned Representative office was finally agreed upon and opened on October 5, 2017. Mr. Samvel Chzmachian (Chairman of the Union of Banks of Armenia from 2009 to 2017, Mr. Chzmachian has been working in the banking sector for more than 44 years) was appointed as the Head of the Representative office of the Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation.
