“Winter Magic” – Moscow hosted the XVIth Business Meeting and Moscow Grand Ball

On the 23^rd of January, the legendary Metropol Hotel hosted the XVI^th Business Meeting and Moscow Grand Ball of financial and business circles of Russia and friendly countries, which is annually held by the magazine “Bankovskoe Delo” (“Banking Business”) and the Council for Financial, Industrial and Investment Policy of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation with the support and participation of the Financial and Business Association of Eurasian Cooperation (FBA EAC), the Association of Russian Banks, the Association of Banks of Russia, and the Commission on Banks and Banking Activities of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. 

More than 200 guests from Russia, China, Israel, Africa, Middle East, Asia and South America gathered to summarize the results of the year and open a new business season. Special guests of the ball were heads and representatives of diplomatic missions of 13 countries – Algeria, Ecuador, Yemen, Panama, Mexico, Sierra Leone, Eritrea, Benin, Guinea, Argentina, Ghana, Colombia, and Nigeria. The main purpose of the annual meeting is to build direct business contacts, discuss possible areas of cooperation and investment projects in the financial sector, industry, agriculture, leasing, defense industry, auto industry, tourism and other sectors.

The evening was opened by Marina Nesterenko, Editor-in-Chief of the magazine “Bankovskoe Delo” (“Banking Business”), Member of the Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Financial, Industrial and Investment Policy, Head of the FBA EAC Committee on International Cooperation and Tourism. Marina Nesterenko presented the Financial and Cultural Forum to be held by FBA EAC, the Association of Banks of Russia and RSPP in April 2025 in Shanghai (PRC) and welcomed Mr. Li Shuobing, President of FBA EAC, Head of SLC Group Corporation.

The participants of the event were also welcomed by Alexander Murychev, Vice-President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Chairman of the FBA EAC Board, Vladimir Gamza, Member of the Board and Chairman of the Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation for Financial, Industrial and Investment Policy, and Dmitriy Kurochkin, Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

As part of the meeting, a ceremony of awarding Crystal Stars within the framework of the P.A. Stolypin Prize was held. Traditionally, the business part of the reception ended with the presentation of awards in the field of economics, finance and culture. The Organizing Committee thanked the Financial and Business Association of Eurasian Cooperation for its support.
