Mr. Manish Kumar, Deputy Chairman of the FBA EAC Board, spoke at the session “Russia-India: On the Way to 100 billion of trade turnover” within the framework of INNOPROM-2025

As part of the INNOPROM-2025 business program, there was held the session “Russia-India: On the Way to 100 billion of trade turnover”, organized by the Aluminum Association with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. The session was attended by Mr. Manish Kumar, Deputy Chairman of the FBA EAC Board, Head of the FBA EAC Representative Office in India, President of Soltex Group.

In his speech, Mr. Manish Kumar emphasized the importance of the business community’s participation in shaping the strategic guidelines for Russian-Indian cooperation:

“Thank you for the opportunity to contribute to the development of the trade dialogue between India and Russia. Today, it is especially important to provide businesses with sustainable and transparent working conditions based on the potential of our countries’ partnership in innovation, infrastructure and the green economy,” he said.

The session discussed issues such as the search for new areas of trade and economic cooperation, the creation of a free trade zone between the EAEU and India, strengthening sustainable and “green” supply chains, as well as expanding trade in environmentally friendly goods.

Among the participants of the session, there were Vinay Kumar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Russia, Andrey Sobolev, Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of India, as well as representatives of large industrial companies and industry associations of the two countries.
