Meeting of FBA EAC and Global Network International Trade Advisory: new horizons for the Russian-Indian business cooperation
On the 2nd of April, Executive Director of FBA EAC, Margarita Fedotova, and Head of the FBA EAC Representative Office in India, Manish Kumar, met with Dr. Jagat Shah, Chairman of Global Network International Trade Advisory, at the FBA EAC Headquarters in Moscow.
The main topic of the talks was the development of bilateral cooperation as well as creation of new business opportunities for the two countries. The FBA EAC, as a platform for bringing together business leaders, plays a key role in finding partners and organizing a business dialogue.
Dr. Jagat Shah, whose consulting company specializes in international trade and training of entrepreneurs, shared plans for large-scale attraction of Indian business to Russia. Already this summer, a series of business missions will start: 100 leading multi-profile Indian companies in industry, trade, and IT will visit Moscow and St. Petersburg to establish contacts with Russian colleagues. The program includes visits to Expocentre, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, and the Skolkovo Innovation Centre, as well as B2B negotiations in the format of high-speed networking.
Special emphasis was placed on the practical usefulness of such meetings: Indian companies are interested not only in importing Russian goods, but also in exporting their products, establishing joint ventures, developing after-sales services, investing in joint production in Russia and India, as well as finding partners. Dr. Jagat Shah proposed to organize a lecture for Russian businessmen in the summer of 2025 on how to successfully establish and run business with Indian partners.
The FBA EAC continues to strengthen bridges between the Eurasian business communities, opening new perspectives for international projects.
