A Russian-Chinese agreement on strategic partnership in the field of intelligent robotics was signed in St. Petersburg
On October 30, 2025, during the 'Russian Industrialist' forum in St. Petersburg, a signing ceremony was held for an agreement on strategic partnership between the FBA EAC and the China Association for Mechatronics Technology and Application (CAMETA).
Signing the document on behalf of the Russian side was Alexander Kotlyarsky, First Vice-President of the FBA EAC. Athena Wu, Deputy Secretary General of the CAMETA, represented the Chinese side.
Evgeny Bazhov, Head of the FBA EAC Representative Office in China, and Nadezhda Khoneneva, Advisor to the FBA EAC President, also participated in the ceremony.
Alexander Kotlyarsky noted that robotics is one of the key areas of technological development in the 21st century, and the consolidation of efforts between Russia and China opens up broad prospects for joint research, innovative developments, and the industrial implementation of smart solutions.
Both parties expressed confidence that the reached agreement will serve as a strong foundation for long-term, mutually beneficial collaboration in intelligent robotics.
