Prospects for High-Tech Industries Discussed at the First Meeting of the FBA EAC Industry Committee
On December 18, 2025, the inaugural session of the Industry Committee was convened under the chairmanship of Alexander Isaevich Kotlyarsky, First Vice-President of FBA EAC and Doctor of Technical Science. This event marked the commencement of the practical operations of the new specialized entity within the Association, established to unify efforts and advocate for the interests of enterprises in the real sector of economy of Greater Eurasia.
An off-site meeting was held at PROMTECH LLC, a prominent entity in the digitalization and integrated automation of industrial enterprises. Founded in 1994, PROMTECH specializes in the development of intelligent control and safety systems for mining, chemical, oil and gas, and metallurgical industries.
Anton Vasiliev, a key member of the Association and General Director of SPARTA LLC, along with his participation in expert councils of State Duma committees on economic policy and transport, was a distinguished guest at the retreat. During the visit, preliminary discussions were conducted on the potential collaboration between PROMTECH and SPARTA in the domain of industrial partnerships.
At the headquarters of FBA EAC, the meeting outlined the priorities and operational principles of the Committee. The proposed activities will focus on the development of practical solutions to critical issues in industrial development, including technological modernization, productivity enhancement, and the strengthening of cooperative ties. Particular emphasis will be placed on fostering an effective dialogue between the private sector and government to address systemic challenges, as well as on supporting joint initiatives aimed at promoting phase-out of imports and enhancing non-resource exports.
Participants in the meeting noted that the Committee's activities will serve as a platform for the exchange of best practices, expert deliberations, and the promotion of specific initiatives designed to bolster the industrial potential and competitiveness of member companies of the Association and their partners.
