Strengthening business ties: a delegation from Russia visited Shanghai and Jinshan District

From July 27 to July 31, 2025, a delegation from Russia visited Shanghai as part of the field module of the educational program for training managerial personnel for public service in the Far East and the Arctic. The program is implemented by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East.

The module was conducted with the participation of the East China Normal University and was aimed at developing competencies in the field of business negotiations and deepening Russian-Chinese regional cooperation

During the trip, special attention was paid to Jinshan District, a promising area of Shanghai that combines industrial and innovative potential with highly developed infrastructure.

With the assistance of FBA EAC, the delegation visited the Euro-Asian Center for Innovative Production (EACIP), founded in 2023.

The Center has become a significant platform for international high-tech projects. The visit was accompanied by Margarita Fedotova, Executive Director of FBA EAC and President of the Liu Shaoqi Foundation.

The participants held meetings with representatives of the district administration and discussed:

– strategy of the socio-economic development of the region;

– measures to support foreign investors and entrepreneurs;

– prospects of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the industrial, scientific and technological spheres.

Such initiatives create a solid foundation for a systematic dialogue and further expansion of business ties between Russia and China.
