Sergey Korotkov, Advisor to the President of FBA EAC, spoke at a round table within the framework of INNOPROM-2025

On July 9, 2025, within the framework of the INNOPROM-2025 international industrial exhibition, a round table was held on the topic: “Experience of Interaction between Leading Technical Universities of the Sverdlovsk Region and Industrial Partners: Implementation Mechanisms and Prospects for Expansion”. The discussion took place at the stand of the Sverdlovsk Region at the Yekaterinburg-EXPO International Exhibition Center.

Sergey Korotkov, Advisor to the President of FBA EAC, Senior National Adviser to the United Nations for industrial development (UNIDO), delivered a report on the topic “Business development through cooperation with educational and scientific organizations”.

In his speech, Sergey Korotkov noted the key role of integrating scientific and educational potential and business needs in training in-demand personnel and promoting innovative solutions. The participants discussed the model of interaction “Technical University – Industrial Partner”, based on project training and the use of universities’ research base for the development of technological initiatives of companies. Attention was also paid to the mechanisms of personnel training for the Russian companies operating in international markets.

The event was organized by the Ural Federal University, named after the first President of Russia, Boris Yeltsin (UrFU). The round table was attended by representatives of government authorities, international organizations, technical universities, major industrial companies and business associations from Russia and abroad.
