Rwandan Embassy Counsellor in Moscow Eric Rubayita Invites Russian Companies to Develop Cooperation in Hydrocarbon Extraction in the African State.

He made this statement on the sidelines of the session "The Potential of Africa's Mining Industry: New Opportunities for Cooperation with Russia and China" as part of the international Russia–Africa Expo 2025 forum.

According to the diplomat, over the past few years, Rwandan authorities have discovered significant oil and gas reserves. However, the country currently lacks the necessary technology and capabilities to extract these hydrocarbons.
