Sergey Korotkov to moderate the Industrial Cooperation session at the Eurasian Forum in Shanghai
An expert session on Industrial Cooperation will be convened in Shanghai on April 20, 2026, as part of the II Eurasian Financial and Economic Forum titled "Eurasia: A Space of Trust and Sustainable Cooperation." The session will be chaired by Sergey Korotkov, Advisor to the FBA EAC President and Senior Advisor to the Head of the UNIDO Office in Russia.
Participants will engage in discussions on emerging aspects of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, strategies for transitioning to a green economy, global energy transformation, and prospects for industrial cooperation, with a particular focus on leveraging scientific, technological, and educational advancements.
Special attention will be devoted to the legal and technological frameworks governing industrial cooperation within the Eurasian region. Experts will explore the harmonization of intellectual property protection measures as a critical prerequisite for the successful establishment of joint high-tech production facilities.
The discourse will encompass intellectual property rights in the digital domain, including their protection, counterfeit prevention, and the development of creative industries. Additionally, the role and practical applications of artificial intelligence in production processes will be scrutinized, as well as prospects for collaboration with UNIDO and ISO.
Prominent speakers at the session include Yuri Razumny, Director of the RUDN Engineering Academy; Zhao Xiaolei, Co-director of the United Nations Industrial and Green Growth Research Institute at Shanghai University of Transport and Head of the Investment and Technology Promotion Office in Shanghai (UNIDO); Timur Arutyunov, Advisor to the Secretary General of the Assembly of Peoples of the World; Evgeny Bazhov, Head of the FBA EAC Representative Office in China and General Representative of the Russian Export Center in China; Andrey Tsiper, Executive Director for Media at Rambler&Co; Eleanor Leskina, Leading Research Fellow at the HSE and Associate Professor of the Department of Digital Technology and Bio-Law; and Sergey Piskarev, President of the Association of Communication Agencies of Russia.
The forum is organized by Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE), Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation (FBA EAC), the Association of Banks of Russia, and the Xinhua News Agency of the Government of the PRC.
