A major financial and economic forum will be held in Shanghai from April 16 to April 19, 2025
In mid-April, Shanghai will host a large-scale international event – the Eurasian Financial and Economic Forum (EFEF). The event that will take place from April 16 to April 19, 2025 at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre, will bring together representatives of governmental, financial, technological and industrial circles to discuss key issues of cooperation between Europe and Asia.
The theme of the forum – “Financial activation, technological progress, sectoral cooperation and establishment of cultural relations. Creation of a new ecosystem of high-quality cooperation between Europe and Asia” – reflects the desire to strengthen partnership in the context of global economic challenges.
Main topics for discussion:
- Development of international settlements and payment systems as well as digitalization of the financial sector;
- Investments in the automobile industry and infrastructure, including the construction of roads and transport networks;
- Implementation of innovations and artificial intelligence in the modern economy;
- Leasing as a new driver of international cooperation;
- Cultural dialogue between the countries of Europe and Asia – on the way to building a sustainable and fair world order.
