Tudor Afanasov, Head of the Representative Office of FBA EAC in Romania, took part in the International Forum “Memory of the Winners”

On the 7 th of April, the Victory Museum hosted the opening ceremony of the International Forum “Memory of the Winners. 80 th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War”, the participants of which were foreign coordinators of the movement “Immortal Regiment of Russia”. The event was attended by more than 200 representatives from 50 countries, including public figures, historians and patriotic organizations.

Tudor Afanasov, Head of the Representative Office of FBA EAC in Romania and coordinator of the Immortal Regiment movement in Romania, was one of the participants of the forum. At the ceremony, he received a replica of the Victory Banner, an exact copy of the assault flag of the 150 th Infantry Division, hoisted over the Reichstag in 1945.

The Forum became an important platform for discussing the preservation of historical memory, fight against the falsification of history as well as protection of Russian cultural heritage abroad. Among the speakers there were representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo, leading historians and experts in the field of international relations.

Receiving a copy of the Victory Banner is not only a great honor, but also a reminder of the importance of conveying the truth about the Great Patriotic War to future generations.
