RIA “Standards and Quality”: The EFEF-2025 discussed new horizons of Eurasian cooperation
On the 18th of April, 2025, Shanghai hosted the First Eurasian Financial and Economic Forum (EFEF-2025), which brought together more than 300 participants of government, financial, technological and cultural circles of Europe and Asia. The event became a platform for developing solutions aimed at strengthening international cooperation in the face of new global challenges.
The EFEF-2025 was organized by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Association of Banks of Russia, Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation and China International Investment PromotionAssociation.
The forum confirmed that Eurasian countries are not just neighbors, but strategic partners ready to jointly respond to the challenges of the time.
Speaking at the opening of the forum, Alexander Shokhin, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, outlined the main conditions for creating an inclusive development model:
‘The global economy, trade and investment are now undergoing serious tests, the fragmentation of the global trade is taking place. Only through cooperation in the spheres of finance, technology and culture can we create a sustainable and inclusive development model,’ said Alexander Shokhin.
