Alexander Shokhin, President of RUIE, and Mr. Li Shuobing, President of FBA EAC, Reviewed Yearly Outcomes and Discussed Future Cooperation Prospects
On December 30, 2025, a concluding working meeting was held between Alexander Shokhin, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE), and Mr. Li Shuobing, President of the Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation (FBA EAC).
The participants comprehensively reviewed the results of their collaborative efforts over the past year and identified key areas for future cooperation.
During the meeting, the parties outlined several promising initiatives for the upcoming period.
One of the planned events is the Second Eurasian Financial and Economic Forum, scheduled to be held in Shanghai in 2026. In developing the forum's agenda, particular attention will be given to the "One Belt, One Road" initiative and the Greater Eurasian Partnership strategy.
In addition to the forum's agenda, the parties discussed a range of business and investment proposals, including the potential for organizing joint initiatives and measures aimed at enhancing trade and economic relations between the two countries. It was agreed that cooperation between RUIE and FBA EAC would continue with a focus on the practical implementation of projects.
The meeting concluded with a cordial exchange of traditional souvenirs from Russia and China, and both leaders extended their well-wishes for prosperity, successful implementation of plans, and peace to each other and their partners for the upcoming year.
