New Year celebrations in China will continue until the 12th of February

Chinese New Year is the most important and long-awaited holiday in China and many other Asian countries. In Chinese culture, it is known as the Lunar New Year and Spring Festival (Chūnjié). With a history encompassing over a thousand years, this holiday is deeply rooted in the traditions and customs of the Chinese people.

The official holiday weekend in China began on the 28^th of January and will last until the 4^th of February. However, celebrations and folk festivities are not limited to these dates and will continue until the 12^th of February, when the Lantern Festival, a beautiful finale of the New Year celebrations, is celebrated.
