New Year celebrations in China will continue until the 12th of February
Chinese New Year is the most important and long-awaited holiday in China and many other Asian countries. In Chinese culture, it is known as the Lunar New Year and Spring Festival (Chūnjié). With a history encompassing over a thousand years, this holiday is deeply rooted in the traditions and customs of the Chinese people.
The official holiday weekend in China began on the 28th of January and will last until the 4th of February. However, celebrations and folk festivities are not limited to these dates and will continue until the 12th of February, when the Lantern Festival, a beautiful finale of the New Year celebrations, is celebrated.
We continue to receive congratulations, and here are some of the most colorful and memorable ones:
Anna Bezdudnaya, Scientific supervisor, Editor-in-chief of “FBA EAC HERALD”, Doctor of Economics, Professor:
Dear Mr. Li Shuobing!
I congratulate you on the occasion of the Chinese New Year!
The year 2025, according to the Chinese calendar, is the year of the Green Wood Snake. In the Chinese horoscope, the snake symbolizes wisdom, flexibility and intelligence.
May this year bring you many joyful discoveries and achievements.
You are an example of a wise and dedicated leader. Not only do you successfully head the Association, but you also make progress in the scientific direction. You provide invaluable assistance by supporting scientific publications – only an inextricable link between business, science and education can develop innovation processes in all areas of the economy.
As the Chinese philosopher Laozi said, ‘We can never direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails’, which reflects your ability to adapt to circumstances, making competent and right decisions as a leader, while keeping to the course of achieving your goals!
Igor Alekseev, Head of the Ramenki District Administration of the city of Moscow:
