Support for Science and Young Professionals: FBA EAC Establishes Specialized Committee
On November 14, 2025, the Board of the FBA EAC established a specialized committee for science and education, under the leadership of Alexander Melerzanov, a Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, and Head of the Laboratory of Biomedical and Digital Technologies at the Center for Scientific Research of Artificial Intelligence, as well as Deputy Director of the Institute of Biophysics of the Future at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT). The committee is tasked with promoting scientific and educational activities, encouraging young people to engage in scientific research, and supporting promising projects through charitable and investment initiatives.
The inaugural meeting of the committee will be held on December 17, 2025, at the headquarters of FBA EAC. The meeting will focus on key objectives of the committee, including analytics, coordination of youth initiatives, and technological expertise. A central point of discussion will be an expert analysis of the "Sweet Protein" project, developed by a group of young scientists led by Alexander Melerzanov. This innovative product, composed of a combination of amino acids and a prebiotic, is designed to serve as a healthy alternative to sugar for individuals with diabetes and in the fields of dietary and functional nutrition.
