On the 19th of March, Alexander Murychev, Chairman of the FBA EAC Board, held a meeting with Jean-Baptiste Thiatie Tine, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Senegal in Moscow.
The conversation focused on the possible formats of interaction with the Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation. Jean-Baptiste Thiatie Tine informed about the high interest of the Senegalese side in cooperation with foreign partners in such areas as agriculture, energy, transport, urban economy, healthcare, petrochemical industry, tourism.
In order to work out further practical steps and study possible cooperation in more detail, both sides agreed on the participation of the FBA EAC representatives in the presentation of the economic potential of Senegal, which is scheduled for the second quarter of 2024 in Moscow. According to Jean-Baptiste Thiatie Tine, representatives of businesses, government agencies and the diplomatic corps are invited to participate in the event.
