The CPAFFC delegation, which carries forward the great traditions of people's diplomacy established by Deng Xiaoping in 1984, was led by Vice President Luo Yuhai. The delegation also included Wang Jianrui, Director of the Department of European and American Affairs; Gao Ying, Deputy Secretary-General; and Ni Guoan, Head of Department.
Opening the negotiations, Li Shuobing emphasized the strategic importance of cooperation with Chinese partners and stressed the need to actively transition from dialogue to the practical implementation of joint business projects.
In his response, Luo Yuhai highly praised the potential for bilateral cooperation. He noted the successful track record of negotiations with Sistema Corporation and Rostec in the fields of industry, science, and economics, while highlighting the oil and gas sector and the automotive industry as the most promising areas for growth. Both sides reached a full consensus that tangible joint ventures serve as the best testament to the friendship between our peoples.
During the working session, the experts outlined specific vectors for cooperation in greater detail:
⦁ Sergei Korotkov, Head of the Brazilian Desk at the FBA EAC and former Director of UNIDO in the Russian Federation, together with Alexei Kazartsev, Chairman of the Association's International Banking Committee, presented specific mechanisms for the financial and organizational support of joint projects.
⦁ Andrei Ostrovsky, Chief Research Fellow at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Ivan Arkhipov, Deputy Chairman of the Russian-Chinese Friendship Society, emphasized the solid historical foundation of Russian-Chinese relations and long-term macroeconomic trends.
The participants paid special attention to developing ties in the automotive industry and the supply of oil and gas equipment, expressing hope for close integration with relevant industry associations in China.

On October 3, 2026, Li Shuobing, President of the Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation (FBA EAC) and shareholder of the SLSi Group, held an official meeting in Moscow with a high-level delegation from the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC).
