About participation of the FBA EAC delegation in the II Euro-Asian Financial and Economic Forum – Khorgos “East-West: Business without Borders”

The delegation of the Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation took part in the II Euro-Asian Financial and Economic Forum – Khorgos “East-West: Business without Borders”, organized by the Association of Banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the People's Government of Khorgos (PRC), with the support of FBA EAC.   

Opening the Plenary Session of the Forum, Bakhytbek Baiseitov, Chairman of the Business Council, member of the Bureau of the FBA EAC Board, President of the Association of Banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bank CenterCredit JSC, emphasized the importance of trade and economic integration of border zones such as the Khorgos SEZ and called on partners to cooperate in key areas of Euro-Asian business integration.  

Igor Kolesov, Director General of FBA EAC, made a welcome speech in the plenary session. In his speech, he noted the importance of cooperation in the field of financial and business integration based on digital technologies, joining efforts in terms of digitalization of a number of banking services.  

Igor Kolesov also moderated the session “Industry, Subsoil, Energy”. During the session, there was a constructive exchange of views between business representatives and employees of the enterprises from key sub-sectors of the industrial sector of the EAEU countries and the PRC.  

The II Euro-Asian Financial and Economic Forum – Khorgos “East-West: Business without Borders” brought together more than 300 representatives of government and public structures, international financial and development institutions, banks and commercial organizations from the SCO and EAEU countries as well as the Caspian region. The event featured 45 speakers who made presentations on a number of topical issues, including financial integration in the Eurasian space, development of international transport corridors, and the private equity market.
