A delegation of the FBA EAC took part in the international forum and exhibition “Russian Industrialist”
On October 29-31, 2025, Saint Petersburg hosted the "Russian Industrialist" International Forum and Exhibition – one of the key federal events in the sphere of industrial and technological development of Russia and Eurasia. The Forum was held with support from the Government of the Russian Federation, upon the instruction of the First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, and in partnership with the BRICS International Municipal Forum, organized by the Moscow Government with the assistance of the Presidential Executive Office, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Rossotrudnichestvo.
The event brought together heads of federal agencies, governors, representatives of major industrial enterprises, financial institutions, scientific centers, and international organizations. Among the participants were RSPP President Alexander Shokhin, Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov, Governor of the Kaliningrad Region Anton Alikhanov, representatives of diplomatic missions, and the international business community.
The high level of the forum provided ample opportunities for strengthening interstate cooperation. A delegation from the FBA EAC was one of the active participants in the forum, headed by the Association's President, Mr. Li Shoubing.
Meeting of Mr. Li Shuobing with Mr. Sorena Sattari: A New Stage of Eurasian Technological Cooperation
During the forum, a meeting was held between the FBA EAC President Mr. Li Shuobing and the renowned Iranian scientist and statesman, Mr. Sorena Sattari, Iran's former Vice-President for Science and Technology. The parties discussed the prospects of creating an expert platform for energy technologies and preparing a memorandum of partnership between the FBA EAC and Iranian development institutions. Particular attention was paid to the possibilities of joint projects in the field of “green” energy and petrochemistry involving PGPIC, the second-largest petrochemical holding in the Middle East.Mr. Li Shuobing’s Participation in the BRICS Congress: Emphasizing Strategic Partnership and Integration
During the landmark International Congress “BRICS Industrialists and Entrepreneurs”, Mr. Li Shuobing delivered a report at the plenary session titled “Joint International Infrastructure and Industrial Projects”.Participants in the discussion included leaders of business circles and development institutions from BRICS countries: Ms. Anand Purnima (India), Mr. Anderson Pomini (Brazil), Mr. Anil K. Agarwal (India), Mr. Yu Xinyu (China), as well as representatives of VEB.RF and RT-Techpriemka JSC.
The Association's President noted that strengthening the infrastructure of cooperation, developing joint industrial programs, and participating in international forums, including the annual financial and economic forum in Shanghai, are strategic priorities for the FBA EAC.
Russian-Chinese Agreement on Cooperation in Intellectual Robotics Signed
During the forum, a strategic partnership agreement was signed between the FBA EAC and the China Association for Mechatronics Technology and Application (CAMETA). The document was signed by FBA EAC First Vice-President Alexander Kotlyarsky on behalf of the Russian side, and by CAMETA Deputy Secretary General Ms. Athena Wu on the Chinese side. The signing marks an important step in the development of technological exchange between Russia and China in the field of intellectual robotics.

Euro-Asian Center for Innovative Production (EACIP): Results and Prospects
During the forum, Mr. Li Shuobing presented the results of the Euro-Asian Center for Innovative Production (EACIP), which opened in Shanghai in 2023 with the assistance of the RSPP. The Center has become a platform for technology transfer, production cooperation, and international research in the fields of energy, artificial intelligence, digitalization, and medicine. The Center's partners include organizations and corporations from Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and other Eurasian countries. Mr. Li Shuobing emphasized priorities for further development, including harmonizing standards, creating specialized economic infrastructure, stimulating joint investments, and diversifying the economy.
The results of the FBA EAC’s participation
The participation of the FBA EAC delegation in the International Forum and Exhibition “Russian Industrialist” strengthened the Association's international ties and expanded practical cooperation with partners from BRICS, SCO, and EAEU countries.The meetings held and agreements reached during the forum confirmed the FBA EAC's strategic role as an institution that unites business, science, and government agencies to build a stable architecture of cooperation across the Greater Eurasian space.
