About the US Central Bank
Today, most American students don’t even know what a central bank is, not to mention that the battle between central banks is one of the most important issues in the U.S. history.
The truth is that this country was created in the midst of a conflict over taxation and control of our money. The central bank has played a key role in almost all the wars in which America has participated. The presidents who resisted the leadership of the central banks were killed, while the rest shamefully sagged under their demands.
Our current central bank is called the Federal Reserve Bank, and it’s about as “federal” as the Federal Express service. The truth is that this is a private financial institution conceived with the aim to lure the American government into an endlessly growing spiral of debt from which there is no escape. The Federal Reserve caused the Great Depression, and the Federal Reserve is also at the heart of the current economic crisis. None of this is being taught to students of American educational institutions today.
In 2010, young Americans are being presented with a sanitized version of American history that makes no sense. And as happens with many things, if you want to know what really happened, just see who benefits from it.
