In his address, A. V. Murychev underscored the relevance of the topic, stating that «railway logistics today plays the role not only of a communication artery, but also of a factor of economic stability and competitiveness for the states of the Eurasian space».

According to the Chairman of the Board of the FBA EAC, the key tasks in the field of transport system development remain the synchronization of national programs of the Union countries, the elimination of institutional and technological barriers, the development of multimodal corridors, and the accelerated digitalization of data exchange between operators and regulatory authorities.

Alexander Vasilyevich noted that the cooperation between the FBA EAC, the EEC and the CSTP is of a practical nature: by combining financial and economic expertise and industry solutions, the organizations contribute to the development of specific road maps and project initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency of international transport links.

Member of the Board of the FBA EAC V. V. Kotenev supported the importance of systematic interaction between business, science and regulatory authorities in the development of the Eurasian transport infrastructure and stressed the importance of digital and innovative solutions to increase the competitiveness of the region.

Following the discussion, the participants of the round table confirmed their readiness for further cooperation in the implementation of projects for the development of the transport and logistics space of the Eurasian Economic Union. The communique of the meeting outlined the key areas of joint work: infrastructure development, improvement of the regulatory framework, introduction of electronic document management, development of modern management technologies, and support for international transport corridors.
