Russian Business Week: The Social Forum discussed strategies and the role of responsible business in achieving national goals
On February 12, 2025, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) hosted the Social Forum as part of the Russian Business Week: “Social Priorities in the Development of Responsible Business – Contribution to Achieving National Goals”.
More than 320 representatives of companies and employers' associations, heads of federal and regional authorities, trade unions, the State Duma, the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly, the Accounts Chamber, the Association “National Network of the Global Compact” as well as other bodies and organizations took part in the Forum.
The Forum discussed social strategies of business and sustainability of companies, the role of responsible business in achieving national development goals and the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030, effective partnerships between business and government to create favorable living conditions as well as favorable conditions for the sustainable development of territories, tools for the assessment of the contribution of companies to solving the tasks of national projects, incentives, the support for responsible companies and responsible investments/investors, and the importance of reporting on sustainable development in this context.
