The Import Substitution Forum discussed the issues concerning the participation of business in achieving technological leadership

The Forum discussed the issues of interaction between the government and business within the framework of solving the complex task of import substitution and achieving the country’s technological leadership. During the discussions, experts assessed the level of awareness and the role of business in the implementation of national projects, as well as identified key barriers to the production of competitive high-tech products.
The Unified Plan for achieving the national development goals of the Russian Federation until 2030 outlines the development of over 1,200 technologies in key sectors of the economy. The creation of such a large-scale technological groundwork places a great responsibility and financial burden upon business, and at the same time requires from the government the formation of a management system that ensures the consolidation of customer needs, the development of the domestic and supranational markets for high-tech products, the effective application of government support measures and the interconnection between all the participants of technological cooperation.

The Russian Business Week being organized from the 11^th to the 19^th of February, 2025 is a key event of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. During this event the proposals related to the current areas of government and business cooperation are brought up and discussed.
