Kirsan Ilyumzhinov and Li Shuobing Discuss the Development of International Relations
On the eve of Russia Day, a strategic meeting took place at 17 Kotelnicheskaya Embankment between Li Shuobing, President of the Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation (FBA EAC), and Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, an outstanding statesman and public figure, long-time Head of the Republic of Kalmykia, and former President of the International Chess Federation (FIDE). The meeting was also attended by Anatoly Tkachuk, Vice-President of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ICIE) and Member of the Executive Board of the RUIE.
Special attention was given to the opportunities that Kirsan Ilyumzhinov's involvement in the Association's activities will unlock. According to the participants, his extensive experience in high-level direct engagement, profound understanding of the international agenda, and personal prestige are poised to provide additional impetus to joint Eurasian projects, ranging from trade, economic, and investment initiatives to humanitarian and youth programs.
As emphasized by the participants, the agreements reached are designed not merely to strengthen existing ties, but to elevate cooperation to a qualitatively new level.
"Today, we see that Russian-Chinese relations have reached an unprecedentedly high level and possess colossal potential. This opens up the broadest horizons for mutually beneficial cooperation and the successful implementation of strategic initiatives," emphasized Kirsan Ilyumzhinov.
