Innovative Slope Reinforcement and Coastal Protection Technology May Receive Support from FBA EAC

Sergey Korotkov, Advisor to the President of FBA EAC and Senior Advisor to the Head of the UNIDO Office in Russia, held a working meeting on June 9, 2026, with Valentin Babkin, General Director of KorBet LLC.

The meeting focused on the prospects for cooperation and the potential membership of KorBet in the Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation. Valentin Babkin confirmed the company's intention to join FBA EAC.

KorBet is a Moscow-based manufacturer of high-tech structural KBP-type blocks for retaining walls. Production of KBP blocks was launched in 2019 in Tuchkovo, Moscow Region. The total area of retaining walls constructed in Russia using this technology, including small-scale projects, exceeds 50,000 square meters.

The company is a resident of the Lomonosov Cluster, part of the Innovative Scientific and Technological Center (ISTC) "Vorobyovy Gory" project at Lomonosov Moscow State University. It is also the winner of the 5th Anniversary Mayor of Moscow "Innovator of Moscow" competition in the "Innovation Leaders" nomination under the "Urban Improvement and Construction" category.

The parties have scheduled an in-person meeting between Valentin Babkin and Anna Bezdudnaya, General Director of FBA EAC, to further discuss the details of cooperation and organizational matters related to the company's admission to the Association.
