INNOPROM-2026 as an Institutional Platform for FBA EAC
The delegation of the Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation (FBA EAC) participated comprehensively in the 16th International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM-2026. Representatives of the Association took an active part in three sessions of the business program: "Financial Code for Industrial Growth," moderated by Alexander Murychev, Vice President of RUIE and Chairman of the Board of FBA EAC; "Technical Regulation in Defense of Industry Interests," organized by the RUIE Committee on Industrial Policy and Technical Regulation; and "Humanitarian Dimension of International Industrial Partnership," moderated by Sergey Korotkov, Advisor to the Director of the UNIDO Center for International Industrial Cooperation in the Russian Federation and Advisor to the President of FBA EAC.
For the Association, which focuses on integrating financial and regulatory mechanisms in the interest of industry, INNOPROM has become a catalyst for growth. According to Anna Bezdudnaya, General Director of FBA EAC and Editor-in-Chief of the FBA EAC Herald, "the interest shown by foreign delegations is a powerful marketing asset. Overall, INNOPROM-2026 has become a meeting place for those ready for open dialogue and innovation, where declarations are backed by real capital, specific technologies, and the development of new supply chains."
Comprehensive participation in the three sessions allowed the Association to cover all key tracks—from financial instruments and regulatory incentives to the humanitarian aspects of international cooperation. While the financial sector has traditionally been a strong suit for FBA EAC, participation in the discussion on the humanitarian dimension of industry has opened up a new direction. Sergey Korotkov, who moderated this session, noted: "Participating in the forum provides FBA EAC with an opportunity to gauge the industry's demand for the Association's expert developments. We have witnessed genuine interest in integrating financial and legal mechanisms into corporate projects."
Following the forum, FBA EAC has identified three priority areas. The first is the institutionalization of dialogue: converting the contacts established at the exhibition into permanent working groups across industry tracks (mining, mechanical engineering, the agro-industrial sector, and high-tech industries), involving regulators and development institutions from EAEU and BRICS countries. The second is financial structuring: developing standard mechanisms for structuring transactions for industrial projects involving Russian and foreign banks, based on the instruments discussed at the "Financial Code for Industrial Growth" session. The third is international support: establishing a pool of experts to provide legal and regulatory backing for Russian industrial projects in the Asian and African markets.
