The Forum Concludes: Publication of the Final Document of the XI MIFEF
The XI Moscow International Financial and Economic Forum, which was held under the theme "Building Bridges: Partnership Without Borders," has concluded its activities. The publication of the final document underscores the key agreements and consolidated positions that emerged during the discussions at this significant annual event of Financial & Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation.
During the forum, which consisted of four thematic sessions and a plenary meeting, participants from BRICS+ countries, Asia, the Middle East, and the Commonwealth of Independent States supported the course towards developing a balanced international architecture based on multipolarity and mutual benefit principles. The final document reflects specific agreements on enhancing multilateral cooperation through the FBA EAC platform. The practical outcomes of the forum formed the basis for updating the roadmap of the Association's international committees.
The document highlights the implementation of projects in the financial and investment sectors, the development of digital marketplaces, and the elimination of administrative obstacles. Participants agreed on joint efforts to establish modern Eurasian transport corridors, harmonize technical standards, and support small and medium-sized enterprises through the creation of interregional clusters.
A significant practical outcome of the forum was the signing of a cooperation agreement between FBA EAC and ANCO "African Club." There was unanimous support for the initiative to host the Eurasian Financial and Economic Forum in Shanghai in 2026 as a logical extension of the Moscow dialogue.
FBA EAC plans to utilize the provisions of the final document as the foundation for the activities of its relevant committees.
