Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation summarized the results of the year 2024 and outlined plans for the future
On March 25, 2025, the General Meeting of Members of the Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation (FBA EAC) was held in Moscow.
Mr. Li Shuobing, President of FBA EAC, expressed in his welcoming speech his gratitude to all participants for their contribution to the development of the Association: ‘Efforts, patience and belief in success contribute to the successful changes and innovations that we are witnessing together with you today. Special thanks to those who have worked hard to ensure the stability and reliability of our organization.’ Due to his involvement in the preparation of the international forum in Shanghai, Mr. Li Shuobing was unable to attend in person, but joined the meeting via video call.
The meeting was chaired by Alexander Kotlyarsky, First Vice-President of FBA EAC, who highlighted the significant achievements of the organization over the past year.

Key results of the year 2024
· International cooperation: The Association organized more than 30 events, including three major forums. Particular attention was paid to developing partnerships with business structures in Greater Eurasia.
· Information activities: An updated website was launched; social networks are actively maintained; the FBA EAC Herald was modernized and now has a scientific and practical focus.
· Stability: The Association has undergone a financial and legal audit.
Decisions made at the meeting:
· Approval of reports: The reports of the President, the Board, the Directorate, and the Audit Commission as well as the 2024 accounting report were unanimously adopted.
· Personnel appointments: Li Shuobing was re-elected as President of FBA EAC for a new five-year term. The membership lists of the Board, Board Bureau, Business Council and Audit Commission were approved.
· Document update: A new version of the Association's Charter and Regulations on Membership in the Association were adopted.


Plans for the year 2025
Forum in Shanghai: The Eurasian Financial and Economic Forum will be held from April 16 to 20 April, 2025, bringing together representatives of business, government structures and scientific community from Russia, China and Eurasia. The main topics of the forum are finance, investments, artificial intelligence and cultural cooperation.
Margarita Fedotova, Executive Director of FBA EAC, invited all members of the Association to participate in this significant event.
‘Such a level of representation of Russia and China makes this forum an exceptional platform for strengthening partnerships and finding new opportunities for cooperation,’ added Alexander Murychev, Chairman of the FBA EAC Board.
Development of the journal: The Association's journal will be published in Russian, English and Chinese, which will expand its audience and increase the recognizability of FBA EAC in the international arena.

‘This year we have an anniversary issue – the 20th one, the issue that will be published in a new format. We would like to organize an open dialogue between the scientific, educational and business communities,’ said Anna Bezdudnaya, Editor-in-Chief of the FBA EAC Herald.
Marina Nesterenko, Chairman of the FBA EAC Committee on International Cooperation and Tourism, offered cooperation as Editor-in-Chief of journal “Bankovskoye Delo” (Banking Journal): ‘We are ready to share our experience and scientific articles. The journal should have a status and should be recognizable to the general public’.
At the end of the General Meeting, Alexander Kotlyarsky, First Vice-President of FBA EAC, thanked all the participants for their active work and expressed confidence in further successful development of the Association.
