To ensure systematic engagement with partners from BRICS countries, the International Committee for Multilateral Cooperation with BRICS Countries has been established. The committee is headed by Sergey Anatolyevich Korotkov, UNIDO representative and Advisor to the President of FBA EAC.
By decision of the FBA EAC Bureau, the International Committee on Standardization has been established. It is headed by Andrey Nikolaevich Lotsmanov, Deputy Chairman of the RUIE Committee on Industrial Policy and Technical Regulation, and Chairman of the Council on Technical Regulation and Standardization under the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The committee will address the harmonization of technical regulations and standards across the EAEU and BRICS.
A Subcommittee on Information Security has been established within the FBA EAC Committee on Industry. Anatoly Ivanovich Smirnov, President of the National Institute for Global Security Research (NIGSR), has been appointed as its head.
Meeting participants approved a new name for the annual autumn Moscow forum — BRICS: New Horizons of Partnership. The renaming reflects a shift in the business agenda's focus toward current issues of cooperation among BRICS and SCO member states. Key priorities for the current year include the elimination of tariff barriers and the development of cross-border payment systems within transport and logistics corridors. The preliminary venue for the forum has been set at the RUIE headquarters on Kotelnicheskaya Embankment. The forum date has been scheduled for November 26, 2026. The program will include specialized sessions on logistics (hosted by the Eurasian Economic Commission), banking, industry, and information security.
Particular attention at the meeting was given to alignment with India's BRICS chairmanship agenda. Work is also underway to engage ambassadors of BRICS countries and representatives of business councils in the forum. It has been proposed that the forum be held with the support of RUIE, the Eurasian Economic Commission, and the Association of Russian Banks.

FBA EAC Approves New Strategic Direction
On July 30, 2026, a meeting of members of the Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation was held under the chairmanship of Alexander Murychev, Chairman of the Board and Vice President of RUIE. The key decision was the approval of a new strategic focus for the Association's work, centered on the BRICS and SCO agenda. As part of structural development, the Board Bureau resolved to establish two new committees and one subcommittee and approved the parameters for preparations for the 12th International Forum, which has been given a new name.
