FBA EAC Discusses Partnership with EEC on Two International Events

On June 17, 2026, a working video conference was held at the headquarters of the Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation with the participation of Andrey Panteleyev, Head of the Economic Policy Strategies Division of the Macroeconomic Policy Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission. The FBA EAC was represented at the meeting by Alexander Kotlyarsky, First Vice-President, Member of the Bureau of the Board, and Head of the Industry Committee, alongside Anna Bezdundnaya, General Director of the FBA EAC and Editor-in-Chief of the FBA EAC Herald.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed two events that the EEC plans to hold with the participation of the FBA EAC.

Anna Bezdundnaya confirmed the Association's readiness to ensure substantive participation in the business program. According to her, the FBA EAC is interested not merely in a nominal presence, but in making a tangible contribution to the agenda—ensuring that the Association's involvement yields practical results for both the business community and institutional partners. She also emphasized that a key priority is building a systemic dialogue with the EEC, in which the business community perceives the Commission not only as a regulator but also as a platform for joint decision-making.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed on further coordination: the EEC will shortly provide the concepts for both events, on the basis of which the parties will jointly determine the format of the FBA EAC's participation—including potential speaking topics, prospective speakers, and a list of companies that may be interested in taking part in the business program. Furthermore, the Association will assist in informing the business community about the upcoming events and opportunities for engagement with the development institutions and government bodies of the EAEU member states.
