FBA EAC and the Eurasian Economic Commission cooperation in macropolitics

On February 4th, 2026, the delegation of the Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation (FBA EAC) had a working session with the leadership of Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). The parties have discussed the cooperation prospects in the macroeconomic policy.

From the FBA EAC side, there were Alexander Kotlyarsky, Senior Vice President, Nikolai Saveliev, Vice President, Sergey Korotkov, Adviser to the President of the Association, and Anton Vasiliev, the member of the Association. Among the Representatives of EEC, there were Alexey Vedev, Director of the Macroeconomic Policy Department, and Andrey Panteleev, Head of the Economic Policy Strategies Department.

This dialogue is already the second one that the parties hold at the Eurasian Economic Commission location. And what is more, there was the positive engagement during the Moscow International Financial and Economic Forum on November 27th, 2025, (MIFEF-2025), which was held at the FBA EAC place, where the EEC experts read analytical reports.

This February working session focused on strategic planning and the development of macroeconomic analysis in the Eurasian Economic Union countries. The participants paid special attention to joint initiatives aimed at ensuring sustainable growth, as well as to the coordinating activities on the upcoming April 2026 Shanghai Forum.

The invitation to this Forum was given to Alexey Vedev, a recognized expert in the macroeconomics and sustainable growth fields.

Following the meeting's results, the parties agreed to partnership strengthening aimed at expanding expert cooperation and developing integration processes in the Eurasian space. The Eurasian Economic Commission also has confirmed its involvement with the round tables organized by the FBA EAC.
