FBA EAC Delegation Participated in the EAEU Council Meeting and Met with Trade Representatives of Latin American Countries and India

As part of the business program of the International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM-2026, the delegation of the Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation (FBA EAC), led by its General Director and Editor-in-Chief of the FBA EAC Herald Anna Bezdudnaya, took part in the 8th meeting of the Council for Industrial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Union in Yekaterinburg on July 6, 2026.

The discussion focused on existing systemic challenges hindering the development of industrial cooperation and the search for effective solutions to overcome them. The meeting concluded with the recognition of the complex set of problems faced by industrial cooperation within the EAEU framework and the adoption of specific steps to expand financial support for industrial projects, including extending existing mechanisms to new sectors of the economy. Issues of harmonizing technical standards, creating conditions for uninterrupted settlements in national currencies, and training qualified personnel were also at the center of attention.

In addition to participating in the EAEU Council meeting, the FBA EAC delegation held a series of meetings with trade representatives of the Russian Federation abroad. As part of the International Export Forum, with the direct participation of FBA EAC Presidential Advisor Sergei Korotkov, negotiations were held with trade representatives of Mexico, Peru, Brazil, and Argentina, as well as with the trade representative of India. During the negotiations, the parties discussed possible areas of interaction, promising niches for Russian exports, as well as challenging issues related to logistics and financial settlements. The parties agreed to continue the dialogue and develop specific mechanisms for cooperation.
