The FBA EAC Delegation Presented Expert Initiatives at the XVI Russian-Indian Business Dialogue
On December 16, Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation participated in the annual business forum dedicated to the advancement of trade, economic, investment, and strategic cooperation between Russia and India.
The XVI Russian-Indian Business Dialogue, held at the Rossiya Segodnya MIA Press Center, convened leading experts to discuss contemporary challenges and development vectors of the bilateral partnership. The Association was represented at the forum by Alexander Murychev, Chairman of the Management Board, and Alexey Kazartsev, Head of the International Banking Committee.

During the business session, Alexander Murychev presented an in-depth analysis of the key areas of Russian-Indian financial and banking cooperation. The expert emphasized practical cooperation mechanisms that align with the dialogue's agenda: the development of direct payment systems in rubles and rupees, strategies for minimizing the use of the US dollar in mutual settlements, strengthening the role of gold as a protective asset, and prospects for the formation of a unified unit of account within the BRICS framework.
The official program continued with a series of working meetings conducted by the FBA EAC delegation during the B2B negotiation block. Consultations with representatives of Russian and foreign credit institutions aimed to identify solutions and develop joint projects to implement the initiatives outlined in the presentation.
