FBA EAC Board member Tudor Afanasov took part in the All-Russian Old Believers Forum in Kazan

Tudor Afanasov, FBA EAC Board Member, President of the Chamber for Economic and Cultural Cooperation between Romania and Russia, Head of the “Business Old Believers Circle” took part in the All-Russian Old Believers Forum in Kazan, which was held in the capital of Tatarstan on the 29th and 30th of October 2024.

Tudor made a presentation on “Preserving and strengthening the traditional family values of the Old Believers of Romania and their role in the context of strengthening Russia's international ties with other countries”.

In his speech, Tudor noted that the Orthodox faith – as part of the Russian tradition, together with knowledge of the Russian language and culture form part of the cultural code that can unite communities of Russian people and their descendants around the world.

‘The Russian world must show that to preserve faith and language, our values means to build the future,’ said Tudor Afanasov.

The representative of FBA EAC also took part in the events within the framework of the XVI Assembly of the “Russian World”, which is annually organized with the support of the fund bearing the same name.
