Announcement of the new issue of the FBA EAC Herald

Dear colleagues!

We would like to present to you the announcement of the next issue of the FBA EAC Herald. This issue is the 20th anniversary issue and at the same time the first one in 2025. 

The issue of the magazine starts with the main news of FBA EAC: the year 2024 was full of significant events that are of great importance not only for FBA EAC, but also for the development of international relations.

In the new issue your attention will be drawn to:

Report on the work of the Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation based on the results of 2024. Li Shuobing – President of the Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation, CEO of SLC Group, highlighted the appointments to leading positions in the Association and spoke about the main results of the work.

The XXI International Banking Forum in Sochi brought together 600 people – it was one of the largest and most representative events in the country, which presented priority directions of import substitution of IT solutions as well as prospects for the development of digital projects in the financial industry and cross-sectoral cooperation between industrial centers of competence.

The VII International Scientific and Practical Conference “Management of Innovation and Investment Processes and Changes in Modern Conditions (St. Petersburg, October 24-25, 2024), held in the year of Russian-Chinese cooperation, was marked by the participation of Mr. Li Shuobing as a speaker. At the conference, Mr. Li Shuobing made a report: “Changing the risk profile of innovation promotion in the conditions of digital transformation of the economy”, focusing on the changing structure of risks associated with the formation of ‘digital economy’ and affecting internal communications at the enterprise.

The X Moscow International Financial and Economic Forum “Building Bridges, Not Barriers. Business Eurasia in a New Reality”, held in Moscow on the 21st of November, 2024. The main focus of the forum is building relationships in the business community of Greater Eurasia. Cooperation is a resource that is crucial in the work of FBA EAC. For more than 10 years, the association has maintained favorable conditions for strengthening reliable ties with representatives of the banking and finance sector, business and academical circles as well as experts from more than 25 countries.

The XV Anniversary India-Russia Business Dialogue – the event brought together over 520 participants, including representatives of government agencies, business, scientific and cultural organizations. Special attention was paid to India's strategic role in the emerging multipolar world, to overcoming the existing barriers and entering new industry markets.

The magazine will also cover the celebration of the Chinese New Year in Moscow in 2025: a vivid symbol of cultural exchange and economic cooperation, this year's celebration in Moscow has reached unprecedented levels, turning the city into a real bridge between the cultures of the two countries.

What is interesting in the magazine is that it covers economic problems of Russian regions as well as prospects for the development of the latter.

Artur Ezaov, Minister of Economic Development of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, will speak about the development of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, its problems, prospects for cooperation as well as trade and economic relations.

The Republic of Bashkortostan will be represented by Rustem Fatkhullin, President of the Association of Entrepreneurs of the Republic. The discussion will focus on the development of entrepreneurship in the Republic of Bashkortostan as well as on opening new horizons in cooperation and activation of activity in the business sector. 

Lubov Koryakova, Head of SMART D-vision consulting agency, business consultant of the Institution for Further Professional Education – Higher School of Economics of St. Petersburg State University of Economics, will share the results of the research conducted in the area of attracting and retaining staff at industrial enterprises in our country in connection with the implementation of the import substitution program and the growth of industrial production.

Alexander Murychev, Doctor of Economics, Chairman of the FBA EAC Board, Vice-President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs for Financial Policy and Development of Economy Sectors, will speak about the problems and solutions for the development of business cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union and the BRICS countries.

Anastasiya Krivonos, Development Director of Canavara Group, will speak about the effective direction of transformation of international trade of logistics companies.

The issue will cover the directions of development of the Eurasian financial market.

Yana Epifanova, Vice-president of the Association of Banks of Russia, will share information about the status of the digital ruble in 2025.

Andrey Mikhailishin, Chairman of the Commission on Payment Systems and Cross-Border Settlements of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, will highlight the main challenges of the current system of international settlements in trade between the BRICS countries.

Scientists from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (National Research University) will share their new scientific research.

Alexander Melerzanov, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Project Manager of the Technology Transfer Center will talk about artificial intelligence and creation of modern digital platforms in the structure of Euro-Asian cooperation.

Dmitry Gavrilov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Center of Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology, and Andrey Leus, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Laboratory of Special Purpose Digital Systems, will highlight the directions of work in the field of rational robotics.

No less important will be the coverage of the environmental problem in the magazine, as the ecological agenda is now a key issue in all countries of the world. In the section “Ecological vector of Euro-Asian economic cooperation”, the following scientists will share their scientific research:

Georgy Bagiev, Honored Science Worker of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Honorary Member of the Guild of Marketers. Georgy Bagiev will touch upon the issues related to the innovative concept of management and marketing as a factor of ensuring the ecological and economic balance of the economy.

Vladislav Donchenko, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Laboratory of Economic Problems of Environmental Safety at St. Petersburg Research Center for Environmental Safety of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Vladislav Donchenko will talk about energy transition and achieving carbon neutrality, which will stimulate the development of a closed-cycle economy in China and Russia.

Anna Bezdudnaya, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Department of Management and Innovations at St. Petersburg State University of Economics, Executive Director of the Scientific and Educational Center for Ecological and Economic Research of the Arctic, will share research on the use of the PRC experience in the development of a green economy. Reducing carbon footprints – one of the global environmental problems – is directly related to reducing carbon gas emissions into the atmosphere.
