This track focuses on the training of engineering and skilled industrial personnel as a critical driver of national competitiveness and technological sovereignty. The sessions cover several key topics. One of them addresses workforce shortages and engineering education: participants are exploring measures to bridge the talent gap and train highly qualified specialists for the industrial sector.
The second topic examines the integration of education and industry: career guidance, the advancement of vocational and engineering education, and the alignment of academic curricula with the practical needs of enterprises. The third topic centers on the national qualification system, which encompasses the development of staff assessment mechanisms, standardization, and employee upskilling.
Additionally, the sessions highlight emerging professions and competencies, identifying the skills that will be in highest demand in the industrial sector in the near future.
The inclusion of the human resources agenda in the business program of the "Russian Industrialist" Forum and Exhibition underscores that workforce development for the industrial sector is no longer a siloed, narrowly scoped issue. The discussions engage not only business leaders but also educational institutions, specialized universities, research centers, and government authorities. It is precisely at the intersection of these domains that modern approaches are being forged to overcome workforce shortages and build a qualification system that genuinely meets the practical demands of enterprises.
