Anna Bezdudnaya to moderate humanitarian session at II Eurasian Financial and Economic Forum in Shanghai

The II Eurasian Financial and Economic Forum will be held in Shanghai from April 19 to 23, 2026. Last year's forum, particularly its humanitarian track, convened experts, scholars, and dignitaries from various countries to explore the role of culture in fostering international relations. The session titled "Historical Memory and Mutual Learning of Civilizations," supported by the Foundation for Heroic Culture of Tsinghua University, addressed a broad spectrum of issues, including the preservation of shared historical and cultural heritage, the development of cultural tourism, and the establishment of the Eurasian Cultural Silk Road. Special emphasis was placed on preparations for the joint commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the victory over fascism, youth exchanges in education and sports, and the protection of intangible cultural heritage. The session was chaired by Zhao Jinyi, Deputy Secretary-General of Tsinghua University, and Lyubov Kazarnovskaya, an academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and a renowned opera singer.

This year's forum will continue the tradition of in-depth humanitarian dialogue. On April 20, a session on culture, education, and public diplomacy will be held, which are pivotal in establishing a foundation for long-term trust and cooperation among Eurasian countries.

The session will be moderated by Anna Bezdudnaya, Deputy Head of the FBA EAC Committee on Science and Education, Editor-in-Chief of the FBA EAC Herald, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Department of Management and Innovation, and Executive Director of the Arctic Environmental and Economic Research Center. Anna Geroldovna's academic expertise and practical experience in the fields of education and innovation will elevate the discussion to a new level, bringing together representatives from the realms of science, culture, education, and business to address issues of humanitarian cooperation.

The forum will feature a comprehensive business program, including a plenary session, specialized sessions on finance, intellectual property protection, and robotics, as well as the inauguration of a Russian product pavilion and an exhibition of cultural artifacts in the center of Shanghai. The humanitarian session is scheduled to be a key event on the first day of the forum, setting a tone of mutual understanding and trust among participants from diverse countries.

We extend an invitation to representatives from the business community, experts, and academic circles to participate in this dialogue. Registration for the forum is currently open.
