Alexander Murychev, the Chairman of the FBA EAC Board, participated in a meeting of the Council of the Association of Banks of Russia, which was held in Moscow on May 22, 2026.
During the meeting, chaired by the Association of Banks of Russia management, participants discussed critical issues related to the strategic and operational development of the banking sector. The agenda included the approval of the association's performance report for 2025, and the identification of strategic priorities for a three-year period up to 2028.
The meeting also addressed personnel matters, specifically the formulation of proposals for the forthcoming General Meeting of Members (Congress) regarding the composition of the Association Council and the candidacy for the post of President of the Association of Banks of Russia. Members of the Council deliberated on internal regulatory documents, including the Regulations on the Council, the Presidium, and the General Meeting. Additionally, they reviewed the Association's performance in the first quarter of 2026, the admission of new members, and organizational matters pertaining to meetings scheduled for the third quarter of 2026.
