Alexander Murychev took part in the events of the IV Eurasian Economic Forum in Minsk

Alexander Murychev, Chairman of the FBA EAC Board, Vice-President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, took part in the key events of the IV Eurasian Economic Forum, which is taking place on June 26-27, 2025 in Minsk (Republic of Belarus).

The Forum, timed to coincide with the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council with the participation of the heads of the EAEU states, is an important platform for dialogue between representatives of government authorities, the business community and international partners. The event is held within the framework of the presidency of the Republic of Belarus in the EAEU bodies in 2025.

As part of the Forum’s business program, Alexander Murychev took part in the 26th meeting of the Presidium of the EAEU Business Council, where topical issues of developing integration cooperation in the agro-industrial complex, international trade, technical regulation and competition policy were discussed. The participants discussed measures to create a favorable business climate and implement cooperation projects within the Union.

Alexander Murychev also participated in the 10th meeting of the Advisory Council on Interaction of the Eurasian Economic Commission and the EAEU Business Council. The meeting focused on industrial cooperation, access to public procurement, protection of entrepreneurs’ rights, and support for small and medium-sized businesses.

Within the framework of the Forum, Alexander Murychev spoke at the thematic session “Quality of the EAEU Internal Market. New Horizons: Challenges and Ways to Overcome Them”, organized by Member of the Board (Minister) for Internal Markets, Informatization and Information and Communication Technologies of the EEC Vartan Simonyan.

In his speech, Alexander Murychev emphasized:

“Deepening the Eurasian economic integration and ensuring the effective functioning of the single economic space require continued efforts to remove obstacles in the EAEU internal market, including barriers, restrictions and exemptions. According to the estimates of the RSPP member companies and our partners in the EAEU Business Council, this work remains one of the key priorities. In 2024, the Commission received information from the business community on 155 problematic issues. For the most part – 48% – they have been clarified, 29% of them have been resolved, and work continues on 23%. At the same time, the share of resolved issues increased from 24% to 29% in 2023. According to our estimates, the more than twofold increase in applications indicates not an increase in the volume of problems, but the fact that businesses are “learning” how to use integration tools and that they are turning to the EEC more and more often. In the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the EAEU Business Council, we ensure that business expectations are realized by constantly monitoring obstacles in the domestic market. We consider it important to ensure a holistic approach to integration processes and will continue to work on their progressive development, taking into account the interests of business.”

The presentation aroused great interest among the session participants and became a significant contribution to the discussion of further steps to improve the internal market of the Eurasian Economic Union.
