The concept of the Committee on Science and Education of the Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation (FBA EAC)

Relevance of the creation

is in attracting young people to research projects, and the FBA EAC, as a platform for supporting scientific research initiatives either as a charitable or investment motive, allocates funds to attract and develop talented young people.

Mission of the Committee on Science and Education is scientific and educational activities. The focus is on developing and implementing programs for the education and science advancement, as well as supporting and creating conditions for the successful training of young personnel, taking into account socio-economic priorities. 

Strategic goals

• developing the scientific research in sci-tech priority areas;
• creating end-to-end and critical technologies;
• creating the conditions and infrastructure needed for scientific research and development, implementing the knowledge-intensive technologies;
• ensuring effective interaction of participants in innovative and technological activities;
• creating an effective management system for innovation and technological development.

Main tasks

1.             Analytical and predictive activity:

monitoring of research projects and grants, compilation of a project portfolio.

2.             Project coordination:

support of youth initiatives; the selection and verification of cooperation partners.

3.             Tech development:

expertise for FBA EAC participants projects; the best practices exchange; publication of the best scientific researches in the FBA EAC Herald.

4.             Regulatory cooperation:

harmonization of technical regulations and standards; lobbying the interests of industrialists in government agencies.

5.             Staffing:

development of industrial specialist training programs; internships and experience exchange;

6.             Information and communication support:

organization of the industry forums and exhibitions; promotion of the Committee members achievements.

Responsibilities

The Committee is responsible for the following:

International cooperation—participation in international grants.

Investment activity—finance attraction to promising research-and-development projects.

Innovation and R&D—support of the advanced solutions.

Staffing potential—development of the educational and scientific programs.

Information policy—formation of educational and scientific agenda.

Resource provision

• Financial resources: contributions from Committee members, grants, and partnership programs.
• Information resources: FBA EAC database, industry-specific analytical platforms.
• Human resources: Committee experts, invited specialists, administrative support.

Expected results
