Meeting between the FBA EAC Committee on BAT and Investment Projects and Unitsky String Technologies Inc.
On July 27, 2023 a meeting was held at the headquarters of FBA EAC between the management of the FBA EAC Committee on Best Available Technologies and Investment Projects, which is chaired by Yury Fedorov, and Anatoly Unitsky, President of Unitsky String Technologies Inc. The meeting was attended by Vladislav Donchenko, Chief Scientific Associate of the Centre for Environmental Safety of the Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation, expert of the BAT Council, member of the FBA EAC Committee; Arsen Babayan, Chief Executive Director of Unitsky String Technologies Inc.; Svetlana Orlova, Acting General Director of FBA EAC; Elena Berezovaya, Chief Executive Director of FBA EAC.
The participants discussed the possibility of implementing the Unitsky String Transport (uST) project, which represents the development of string systems technology as a global transformative potential aimed at forming the foundation for the safe and harmonious development of civilization in the long term, namely the creation of a new environmentally safe flyover mode of transport.
Unitsky String Technologies Inc. sees its cooperation with FBA EAC as assistance in promoting the ready-made technology in the Eurasian countries, in carrying out certification of testing technologies of trestle string-rail transport for compliance with the best available technologies (BAT), which in the future will put the new type of transport in a favourable position compared to others in terms of technical, tactical, environmental and economic indicators.
In turn, Yury Fedorov, Chairman of the FBA EAC Committee on Best Available Technologies and Investment Projects, spoke about the activities of the Committee, which for several years in a row has been carrying out work to provide scientific and expert services for the implementation of promising innovative technologies. The Committee is preparing recommendations for inclusion of technologies in the Priority List of innovative technologies and goods recommended for implementation in the territory of the EAEU.
Having assessed the potential of the project of Unitsky String Technologies Inc., Yury Fedorov noted that the materials presented to the Committee experts show that the proposed new type of transport will have minimal, and in some cases - zero negative impact on the environment and it is this provision that gives the Committee grounds to support the proposal for co-operation with Anatoly Unitsky's company.
During the meeting, the parties reached a mutual understanding and outlined roadmap for further co-operation.
