The FBA EAC Committee on Industry has outlined its plans for the year

The inaugural working session of the FBA EAC Committee on Industry for the current year was convened in Moscow. The meeting focused on the development of a work plan for the forthcoming period.

It was determined that scheduled meetings of the committee will be held on a quarterly basis, with the next scheduled for late April. Additionally, field meetings will be organized at industrial enterprises and special economic zones, including the Moscow Region, Tatarstan, and the Vladimir Region, among others. This approach will facilitate a deeper understanding of industry specifics and enhance collaboration among market participants.

The committee identified three priority areas to guide future discussions:

1. Addressing the workforce shortage. The discussion will focus on revitalizing and modernizing training programs for specialists directly in production environments, encompassing factory schools, contemporary corporate training, and partnerships with universities.

2. Automation and robotics. A roundtable will be held to explore strategies for achieving national objectives related to the increase in the number of industrial robots. Future discussions are anticipated to expand to an international level, including collaboration with Chinese counterparts to exchange best practices.

3. Enhancing representation and coordination. Efforts will be directed at attracting new members from diverse industries to FBA EAC, as well as fostering systematic cooperation with federal executive authorities and industrial unions. This collaboration aims to consolidate efforts and develop coordinated solutions.

As a consequence of the meeting, a strategic roadmap was established. The first significant event will be a roundtable dedicated to personnel issues.
