Meeting of the FBA EAC Board
On June 24, 2025, a regular meeting of the Board of the Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation (FBA EAC) took place in Moscow. The event was held in an atmosphere of constructive dialogue and the common focus on the sustainable development of the Association. The discussion addressed a wide range of key issues covering the strategic directions of the Association’s activities, its institutional development and the strengthening of international business cooperation.
One of the central issues on the agenda was the approval of the final resolution of the Eurasian Financial and Economic Forum (EFEF-2025), which took place on April 16-19 this year in Shanghai. The Board members emphasized the high importance of this forum, which has become a large-scale platform for an open dialogue between representatives of business, financial and expert circles from Europe and Asia. The adopted resolution reflects the key vectors of integration cooperation in the Eurasian space, including the support for digital initiatives, the development of cross-border partnerships, sustainable investment, financial and banking cooperation, as well as strengthening humanitarian and cultural exchange.
At the meeting, special attention was paid to the issues of charity and the implementation of the social mission of FBA EAC. The Board unanimously approved the Regulation on Charitable Activities, and also decided to establish a Charity Committee. Alexander Kotlyarsky, First Vice-President of FBA EAC, Member of the Board Bureau of FBA EAC, General Director of Industrial Technologies LLC, was elected Chairman of the Committee. Alexander Kotlyarsky is a respected scientist and manager with many years of experience in the industrial and technological fields, as well as an active supporter of charitable projects. His election symbolizes the Association’s commitment to systematic and responsible work in this area.
Also, the participants of the meeting adopted the Regulation on the committees of FBA EAC, regulating the principles of formation, powers and functionality of the relevant departments of the Association. During the discussion, a proposal was made to establish a Cultural Committee conceived to promote the formation of a common Eurasian cultural space, the support of creative initiatives and the exchange between artistic and scientific circles, as well as to promote the ideas of cultural dialogue and mutual understanding.
The presentation of one of the Association’s priority innovation projects, the International Robotics Championship, aroused considerable interest among the participants. It is assumed that the future event will become a catalyst for further scientific and technical cooperation within the framework of the Association.
Personnel and organizational issues were discussed at the meeting as well. The Board approved an updated list of the FBA EAC members, and also supported a number of applications for membership in the Association. According to the voting results, the title of “Honorary Member of FBA EAC” was awarded to several prominent representatives of the business community for their contribution to the development of international partnership. Among the awardees are Tudor Afanasov, Bakhytbek Bayseitov, Alexander Kotlyarsky and Samvel Chzmachyan.
The meeting of the FBA EAC Board became an important stage in the systematic work on the formation of a single Eurasian economic and humanitarian space. The decisions taken serve to strengthen the organizational foundation of the Association, expand international relations, develop social initiatives and promote the values of sustainable and mutually beneficial partnership.
