On September 27, a regular meeting of the RSPP Integration Council for Interaction with the EEC took place, at which participants discussed issues put on the agenda of the upcoming meeting of the Advisory Council for Interaction between the EEC and the EAEU Business Council on September 29.
They talked about improving the interaction of the Eurasian Economic Commission with the business community of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, about proposals for the formation of a common exchange market of goods within the EAEU, about studying the prospects for the creation of Eurasian companies within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union law, about financing industrial cooperation projects within the EAEU, about the development of cooperation with the business community of the countries-partners of the EAEU and representatives of business circles from third countries. The participants also discussed the implementation of Strategic Directions for the development of the Eurasian Economic Integration in 2022 and issues of improving cooperation between the EAEU Business Council and the Eurasian Economic Commission.
Alexander Murychev, Vice-President of the RSPP, Chairman of the Council, Chairman of the Board of FBA EAC, chaired the meeting.
Director General of the FBA EAC Oleg Berezovoy, a member of the RSPP Board, a member of the RSPP Integration Council for Interaction with the EEC, attended the meeting.
REFERENCE
On February 3, 2015, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs established the RSPP Integration Council for Interaction with the EEC to consider integration issues, promptly respond to incoming requests from the EEC, executive authorities, as well as generalize and prepare proposals from RSPP member companies, develop a business position on the development of integration processes in the EAEU.
The Integration Council consists of the heads and members of the committees and commissions of the RSPP: on integration, trade and customs policy and the WTO; on technical regulation, standardization and conformity assessment; on industrial policy; on international cooperation; on energy policy and energy efficiency; on the labor market and social partnership; on the agro-industrial complex; on financial markets; on transport and transport infrastructure; on insurance activities.
In April 2015, the Advisory Council on the Interaction of the EEC and the Belarusian-Kazakh-Russian Business Community created a Working Group on the main areas of Integration at the COP and proposed to create working bodies under the coordinating organizations from the business communities in order to interact on the elimination of barriers, exemptions and restrictions with this Working Group.
The Integration Council is the same working body of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs – a coordinating organization from the business communities of the Russian Federation.
