FBA EAC leaders discussed preparations for the Forum in Shanghai
Last week, Li Shuobing, President of FBA EAC, and Margarita Fedotova, Executive Director of FBA EAC, held talks in Shanghai on the organization of the upcoming Forum, which is scheduled for April 16-19, 2025. The event will become an important platform to discuss key topics such as finance, auto industry, investments, leasing, artificial intelligence and its application, as well as cultural cooperation.

On the 21st of February, 2025, a delegation comprising representatives of the FBA EAC, the I.V. Arkhipov Foundation and Russian enterprises visited the Shanghai Public Diplomacy Association. During the meeting with Mr. Zhou Hanmin, Chairman of the Association, the prospects for strengthening cooperation between Shanghai and Russia in trade and economic, scientific and technical as well as cultural spheres were discussed.
Zhou Hanmin stressed that the Shanghai Public Diplomacy Association actively supports the initiatives aimed at developing relations between China and Russia, in accordance with the strategic programs announced by the leaders of the two countries. He also noted the importance of collaboration in the context of celebrating the 80th anniversary of the victory over fascism and strengthening the post-war world order.
Margarita Fedotova in turn reported on the upcoming Forum, which will be an important step in strengthening bilateral relations. She expressed confidence that the event would attract the attention of key players from the financial, industrial and technological sectors, as well as become a platform for sharing experiences and finding new opportunities for cooperation.
The Forum, scheduled for April, promises to become a significant event for business and culture of the two countries. Participants will discuss current challenges and prospects in the fields of artificial intelligence, finance, investments and leasing, in the auto industry, as well as in the area of strengthening cultural ties between Russia and China.
The FBA EAC continues to actively work on strengthening the economic and cultural ties between the countries of Eurasia. The upcoming Forum in Shanghai will be another step in this direction, contributing to the development of a multipolar world and inclusive economic globalization.
