FBA EAC singed MOU with POWERCHINA

IMG_6510 анонс.jpgOn July 11, 2019 FBA EAC signed a Memorandum of long-term cooperation with the Chinese corporation POWERCHINA.
  Chinese delegation was represented by Zhu Zhaohui, Representative in Russia of CHINAPOWER International, Lui Ye, deputy Representative in Russia of CHINAPOWER International, Yue Peng, CEO, China Hydro Russia, Xiang Sheng, deputy Chief Engineer, Division 9 of China Hydro, Cai Wei, deputy Chief Economist, Division 9 of China Hydro.
  FBA EAC was represented by Alexander Murychev, Chairman of Coordinating Council, Executive Vice-President of RSPP, Oleg Berezovoy, General Director, Evgeny Bazhov, Head of Representative office in China, Oleg Chernyshev, Head of Representative office in Central Federal district of Russia, Eduard Merzlyakov, Head of Representative office in Volga and Ural Federal districts of Russia.
  Alexander Murychev started the meeting with the opportunities the Association can give in selecting interesting projects in Russian regions as well as in the whole Eurasia. After that he pointed out the advantages for the Chinese colleagues and the opportunities to participate in the electric power projects, highway engineering, agriculture projects, underlining that these sectors are priority in Russia and are closely supervised by the government. Alexander Murychev also stressed that today the turnover between Russia and China amounts to $ 107 bn with the task from the authorities of both countries to raise it up to $ 200 bn. And POWERCHINA has a chance to contribute in these figures growth.
IMG_6494 сер.jpg  Oleg Berezovoy in his speech gave some more details regarding the current projects which the Association can offer for investments today, for example the construction of the airport in Ryazan, the engineering of the new underground line in Saint Petersburg, the construction of the sea ports in Murmansk and Arkhangelsk, the engineering of a floating hydropower plant within the Nord Stream project. Besides Oleg Berezovoy informed about the interest from Indian companies-members of the Association in the investments into highway engineering and other infrastructure projects. Of no less interest is the cooperation with Kazakhstan which has already been discussed with FBA EAC President Bakhytbek Baiseitov.
  Chinese guests were glad and grateful for the interesting information to become a ground for prosperous cooperation. Zhu Zhaohui, Representative in Russia of CHINAPOWER International informed about the main focus areas of POWERCHINA and about the existing contracts in Russia, including with PAO “RusHydro”, the Federal Road Agency “Rosavtodor”. Zhu Zhaohui expressed interest in agricultural projects and in cooperation with CIS countries.
