Development of relations with Turkmenistan

IMG_7462 сайт.jpgOn March 31, 2021, Executive Vice-President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Chairman of the Board of the FBA EAC Alexander Murychev held a business meeting with the newly elected Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) Dovran Khudaiberdyev. The meeting was attended by: Anatoly Kazakov, Member of the Business Council of the FBA EAC, Adviser to the Office of the Chairman of the Executive Committee – the CIS Executive Secretary, Chairman of the Coordinating Council of the CIS Financial and Banking Council, Oleg Berezovoy, General Director of the FBA EAC, Member of the Board of the RSPP, Member of the Supervisory Board of the FBA EAC, Sergey Krasilnikov, Vice-President of the RSPP, Managing Director of the Department for International Cooperation and Integration of the RSPP, and others. The meeting was opened by Alexander Murychev. Speaking about the positive aspects of bilateral cooperation, he also noted the problems that complicate doing business in both Russia and Turkmenistan.
In his response speech, Dovran Khudaiberdiyev welcomed the participants, thanked them for the warm welcome, and briefly spoke about the history of the creation and the present day of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. Then Dovran Khudaiberdiyev offered to exchange experience on overcoming the economic consequences of Covid-19, as well as to consider issues on the development of bilateral cooperation in mutually interesting areas of entrepreneurship, particularly, in industry and agriculture.
Then Anatoly Kazakov addressed to the audience. In his speech, he highlighted the issues of comprehensive cooperation with the CIS countries, spoke about the existing joint Russian-Turkmen projects and the problems arising in the course of their implementation related to mutual settlements and obtaining security guarantees for investment projects.
Sergey Krasilnikov focused on the current trends in cooperation between Russia and Turkmenistan, and then gave comments on the development of a range of business areas that are interesting for both sides. In conclusion, he suggested the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan to participate more actively in international forums on the organization and promotion of business.
Addressing the participants of the business meeting, Oleg Berezovoy spoke about the goals and objectives of the FBA EAC at the present stage, about the work of the Association to develop favorable conditions for effective business activities of its members in the territory of the Eurasian countries. FBA EAC's interests include small and medium-sized businesses, commercial banks, private capital, and public-private partnerships. To implement the business requests of the Association's members, the FBA EAC has formed and successfully operates specialized industry committees, subsidiaries, as well as FBA EAC Representative offices are located in 54 countries of the world.
The meeting was held in a businesslike atmosphere. The participants noted the high level of discussion and outlined plans for further joint work.
