ХII International banking forum «Banks of Russia – XXI century» in Sochi

From 3 to 6 September 2014 in Sochi was held XII International banking forum «Banks of Russia – XXI century».

FBA CS was represented by President – Baiseitov B., Chairman of the Coordination council – Murychev A. and General director – Berezovoy O.

There were more than 500 participants – Heads of Russian and foreign banks and banking associations, ministry and administration departments, representatives of credit institutions and leading financial market experts.

The forum was supported by World Bank, International Monetary Fund and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

The main questions, discussed during the sessions, were current and strategic objectives of Russian Financial sector development till 2020, financial institutions regulation and supervision trends in the conditions of global financial markets globalization and also problems of the national financial sector stability.

The main round table discussion topics were strategic questions and search for models of financial market participants sustainable development, financial infrastructure improvement and integration in the mega regulation conditions and also questions regarding availability and quality of financial services and liquidity management.

Session participants formulated recommendations to Russian Federation Government, Council, Central bank and Association of Regional Banks of Russia by the forum results.

Among participation in sessions and round tables, FBA CS government managed to held several business meetings with heads and representatives of Associations of Banks of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, minister of economics and financial policy of Eurasian Economic Commission and also member of the FBA CS – HAMKORBANK.
